Award-winning author gives talk to Years 5 & 6

BGS Girls and Boys in Years 5 and 6 enjoyed an interesting talk from award-winning author Katherine Rundell on Wednesday afternoon.


BGS Girls and Boys in Years 5 and 6 enjoyed an interesting talk from award-winning author Katherine Rundell on Wednesday afternoon.
Katherine spoke to the pupils about the four books she has written (detailed below) in the Infants Hall and wrote a story together with the pupils before they asked her a range of questions.
She also signed copies of the books for the pupils at the end of the talk.
Katherine said: “The kids were wonderful, with huge, wild imaginations – the story we wrote together featured magic fountain pens and an animatronic devil: I was very impressed.”
The four books Catherine has written are as follows:
The Girl Savage
Rooftoppers
The Wolf Wilder
The Explorer

Katherine, a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, spoke to the pupils about the four books she has written (detailed below) in the Infants Hall and wrote a story together with the pupils before they asked her a range of questions.
